Karen Farquhar is Chief Executive with local Aberdeen Charity Befriend A Child and has worked in the Voluntary Sector for 14 years. Karen is very focused and passionate about her work and this has enabled her to turn her drive to succeed into tangible results including the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service. Karen is a Common Purpose graduate and was admitted as a Burgess of Guild in 2010. Karen is also active in the Aberdeen Businesswoman’s Network (www.abn-network.co.uk).
